BAPC '13: Military Brony Panel

This panel consisted of four men who serve in the military and happen to be big fans of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. The one on the far left, for example, had named his helicopter Spitfire and taken his boxed Derpy figure along for missions. They explained what it was like being in the minority of the minority (military personnel who like MLP) but they weren't ashamed to enjoy the show in their spare time, particularly since the show does teach values consistent with the military, such as courage and honor. On the far right is the show's former supervising director Jayson Thiessen: at the end of the panel, he was presented for several gifts to honor him for his work on the show. It was a really enlightening experience to see them talk about their interest and how it's affected them positively.
